Dr. Abdel Kaleel, MD, M.SC.
Dr. Kaleel, Director of the HeadworX clinic, is a trusted authority in the Neurosciences. Following the completion of his Stroke/Vascular Neurology training from Yale University School of Medicine in the USA, he settled in Kitchener, Ontario, to serve the Southwestern Ontario community and beyond.
He is one of very few board-certified neurologists in the world to have accredited expertise and subspecialty qualification in more than three neurological subspecialties. Dr. Kaleel actively maintains board certification in Stroke/Vascular Neurology, Neuroimaging, Neuropsychiatry/Behavioral Neurology, Brain Injury Medicine, Headache Medicine (dual certification), Pain Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Hyperbaric Medicine (MSc) as well as EEG training from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Kaleel has been selected as one of Ontario’s five Provincial Neurology Group E-consultants within the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN), addressing a critical gap in general neurology care in under-served areas.
Dr. Kaleel is the Sports Neurologist of the Kitchener Rangers and Panthers.
Dr. Kaleel also participates in the teaching and supervision of the next generation of physicians as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University’s Waterloo Campus.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family.

Dr. Amer M Burhan, MBChB, MSc. FRCPC
Dr. Burhan is a Geriatric Psychiatrist, currently the Physician-in-Chief and Endowed Chair for Applied Mental Health Research at the Ontario Shores Centre of Mental Health Sciences in Whitby Ontario, Associate Professor in Psychiatry at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Associate Member of the Institute of Medical Sciences and the Collaborative Program in Neurosciences at the University of Toronto, and Adjunct Research Professor in Psychiatry at Schulich School of Medicine, Western University. Dr. Burhan obtained a medical degree from Baghdad University College of Medicine in 1993, granted the Jeanne-Timmins-Costello fellowship in basic neurosciences from the Montreal Neurological Institute and McGill University in 1997, attended general psychiatry training at the University of Rochester 1998-2001, and advanced psychiatry training in geriatric neuropsychiatry at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University 2002-2003. In 2015 he completed Masters of Science in Community Health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and University of Toronto. He is certified in general and geriatric psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and obtained a diploma in Neuropsychiatry from the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties in the United States in 2007.
He has extensive experience in the assessment and management of neurocognitive disorders and in the application of therapeutic brain stimulation in the care of resistant mental illnesses and in facilitating cognitive function.
Dr. Mervin Blair, Ph.D., C.Psych
Dr. Mervin Blair, Ph.D., C.Psych is a Clinical and Research Neuropsychologist. Dr Blair obtained his BSc (Hons.) in Psychology from Western University Canada and subsequently worked as a research associate at St. Joseph’s Health Care London (SJHC). He then went on to receive his MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, with specialized training in clinical neuropsychology. He completed his pre-doctoral residency at McGill University Health Centre (Allan Memorial Institute) with a combined focus in neuropsychology and psychotherapy, and at the Montreal Neurological Institute with a focus in neuropsychology. Next, he completed a research post-doctoral fellowship in neurological disorders (dementia, multiple sclerosis) at Parkwood Institute (SJHC) and clinical licensing in stroke and brain injury at multiple institutions (Hamilton Health Sciences, SJHC, etc). His primary clinical and research interests are in geriatrics and neurocognitive disorders, including various neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal degeneration), mild cognitive impairment, stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and neuropsychiatric disorders, among others.

Dr. Ginette Moores is a distinguished adult EEG specialist and a leading expert in women’s neurology. As Canada’s first-ever graduate of the Women’s Neurology Fellowship program at the University of Toronto, Dr. Moores brings unparalleled expertise and dedication to her field. She is a proud alumna of McMaster University Medical School and currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

Pediatric Neurologist
Dr. Sidhu is a Child Neurologist who completed her residency in pediatric neurology at McMaster University. She completed medical school at the Michael G. Degroote School of Medicine at McMaster University in May 2015. She obtained EEG certification via the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists in June 2019.
